THE BEGINNING
The Landscape Photography Gallery was opened at Crystal Lake in the summer of 2003 with the belief that there would be a market for unique, excellent photographs particularly of the local landscape. The response was very positive in the first year. Individual prints alone or matted and framed prints were sold locally as wedding, burthday and anniversary gifts, as memontos for visitors and for personal home and office decoration. Photographs of our landscape have made their way to England, France, Australia and even Gettysburg, Pennsylvania as well as other parts of Canada. SUMMER HOURS Sundays > 12 noon to 8 pm THE PHOTOGRAPHS The majority of the photographs in the gallery are of the east central Saskatchewan landscape. Others are from travels in other parts of the world. All photographs were taken by Wayne Corbett. Current photographs were made with a high resolution digital camera. Other photographs come froma large collection of 35mm slides and print film. Selected photographs are downloaded onto a computer whre digital darkroom software is used to enhance the photos to maximize the effect of the original image. The photographs are printed using archival Epson inks and paper. Each photograph is framed very simply using acid free matting material.
